I am in the process of adopting a dog (small pug mix) and finding a new place to live at the same time (ton of fun, I know). I was given a recommendation to look into pet insurance that also covers damage to the place I rent. I found a company called PetCare Insurance - it is $17/month, with a $75 deductible. It covers all sorts of accidents and illnesses, as well as $700 damage to the apartment/house.

Has anyone gotten insurance like this? Is it worth it, or is it a scam? Have you heard of PetCare Insurance, or is there another one you would recommend? Thanks

I was told by several people that the species of the 'Main-coon' is part Racoon?.My cat is @ 20 lbs and has all the markings,(less the mask).Some of my neighbors think it's a Racoon.

I llive in a one-story house, have a good-sized backyard, I am the youngest,(12), and I can spend grooming it every week and give it a freerun too. NO CHIHUAHUAS OR FLUFFY DOGS please. Any suggestions?

We were having a bbq and my cats tail caught on fire but I put it out with some jello that was next to me, anything I should do after that? I rubbed it with this anti burn stuff and it seemed to help!

http://www.esnips.com/nsdoc/f1fdbbeb-0f26-4d46-9466-8874dcd2173e/?action=forceDL was the link i couldnt get up, the problem is my rats make this wierd heavy breathing, like they have alot of fluid in thier nose, and i think it might be sick, has any of your healthy rats ever made this noise? also, does anyone know of a vet who treats rats in Ontario CA? he usually makes this noise when i pick him up, and sometimes he seems to not like the idea of being lifted, he squirms. i cant find a cause for this, the bedding is like paper, only kinda fluffy, like recycled cardboard, nice rat nesting stuff, they get all the fruits and veggies when i make my morning sandwich, they are about 1 1/2 to 2 years old, so age might play into this, also, about how much does a visit to the vet cost for a check-up? meds? im really worried, there isnt a draft, they just got cage cleaned 2 days ago, i dont over feed them, and they are on a dresser like headboard thing, i modified it for to be a shelf.

When I catch her doing Happy paws (making biscuits).

My dog has been throwing up and has been having uncontrollable muscle spasms for about 6 hours now. She has extreme muscle rigidity in her legs now, and can barely lift her head to drink. I know I need to take her to a vet, but my mom won't because there is no way we can afford it. The animal hospitals won't let us payments either. How can I make her comfortable? I know she'll probably die, but I want to do something so she isn't so miserable anymore. I don't know what to do. She just had a litter of 11 puppies like 2 weeks ago...and I need her to take care of them. I wish I could help her.....

I have a 10 week old kitten tomorrow. I think she is dying but I am not sure. I picked her up today and I noticed that pooped on my shirt, just from picking her up. I also noticed that there was blood in her poop. Can someone please tell me what might be wrong. I have had her for 3 weeks now. When I first got her she was perfectly healthy. She was gaining weight but now I looked at her as she was walking and she looks like she is getting really thin. Please help me. I don't want my kitten to die.

The vet said that she needs to start drinking from a doggie bowl but I can't get her to drink from it she'll get dehydrated I already tryed not feeding her a bottle she got dehydrated and she no pea came out for those days Shes 3 months old and the vet said shes to old to have a bottle shes a yorkie she weighs barely 2 lbs and I don't want her to get smaller than she already is.....Help what do I do??????

Not only was she diagnossed with parvo on tuesday, but she was fixed the friday before. As well as treated for 2 parasites 10 days before her surgery. She has all her shots and everything. They can't tell me why she got this. I am not sure what is going to happen. I miss her soo much. If your dog has survived please... i would love to her about it. I just want my baby home. :-(

I want to adopt a dog (or puppy), but it's being sold in Florida at a rescue center. It's been fostered and it's a great breed, but I live in Michigan and I want to get it so bad! It's a fantastic dog, already house trained and that. How much would it cost to ship it here? PLEASE answer and please be around the exact cost!! Thanks!!

she's a loving dog with the kids,
but she does not know how to control her self. she barks uncontrolably, she likes to test me when i tell her "stop!" she will still bark softly and look at me. licks the heck outta the family even when you yell at her to stop, she still does. she's destructive. we bought a $80 fence for her and a terrier we've had sice she was a pup. for them to stay in the kitchen because we are gone most of the day, and they just pee all over. when we are back shes in the livingroom. i have even spanked her and yelled at her "no, bad dog!" hoping she will realize that she is not to hop that fence, but she still does. i dont know what to do with her no more. sometimes i get so frustrated.....and think of giving her away, but a cant do that. she acts like a little kid, she's 1y. and 9m. she even annoys our other dog. any advise?
