yes your dog is pregnant because my dog is pregnant too. Also if you want to feel the puppies you can gently go around her stomach with your thumb and feel them.My older sister does it all the time.Or you can take her to a pets shop and ask. My dad did that and they said so.Good Luck and be careful.

Your vet can't tell yet and she has distended nipples? Who is your vet? Long before the nipples distend there are other signs. Most dogs don't produce milk until the end of the pregnancy.

Gestation in dogs in 63 days. At about 42 days you can feel a bulge in the belly and possibly slight movement. An ultrasound can answer that question for certain at almost any time in the pregnancy.

Some key information was left out. How old is your dog. What breed/size is it? How many litters has she had already?

Older dogs that have had many litters often have droopy teats as they don't have the ability to recover as quickly or as thoroughly as a younger dog. Also, remember that every litter a dog has takes approximately a year off her life span. Dogs that breed live 5-8 years LESS than dogs that never do. The first heat doubles the rate of masticular cancer, the first litter TRIPLES that rate from there.

IF your dog is a small dog, you face additional risks. Many small dogs can not give birth unassisted. They require a cesarian Section. This generally costs about $600. Without it they can't pass the pups and can die.

The best thing you can do for your dog is to get her spayed. She will live a longer and healthier life. Breeding should be left to professionals. This not only keeps animals from inbreeding, but can prevent other problems. Remember that 7 animals are born for every human. There are not enough homes for all of these animals. The "extras" are killed. So every animal born is another animal somewhere that dies.

If the nipples are bigger, the vet can do the blood test and know for sure. I am sure she hasn't seen a vet.
You sound real intelligent too!! Use spell check once and a while!!!!!!!
And spay the dog because you shouldn't be having puppies, you are not smart enough.

WOW!!! DIMWITS that take the dog to a PET SHOP for medical advice!!! WHAT A TOTAL WINNER THAT ONE IS!!!!!

This is why people complain about total idiots like you guys here!!!! It is hard to think that there are really people that "dim"!!! Instead of spending money on pets, you should be getting an education!!!
