My dog has been throwing up and has been having uncontrollable muscle spasms for about 6 hours now. She has extreme muscle rigidity in her legs now, and can barely lift her head to drink. I know I need to take her to a vet, but my mom won't because there is no way we can afford it. The animal hospitals won't let us payments either. How can I make her comfortable? I know she'll probably die, but I want to do something so she isn't so miserable anymore. I don't know what to do. She just had a litter of 11 puppies like 2 weeks ago...and I need her to take care of them. I wish I could help her.....

By the way I think she got sick from eating some spoiled food out of the garbage can. I thought maybe she got into some anti freeze or motor oil, but I looked everywhere she could have gone and there wasn't anything spilled. I also checked for pill bottles.

She was shaking all over, especially in her legs. It actually started out as her right front leg shaking violently. Now she is stiff, but still shaking. She did shake a lot for like 2 hour really really bad. I just wish she wasn't so sick...

Talk your Mom into taking her to a vet,she sound's like she's in bad shape. Get on the phone and call every vet in the book and keep asking for help from them. Vet's do have a heart. If you can't take her, tell a vet what's going on and you can get some help over the phone. How about your Dad, will he help? Or an Aunt or Uncle or Grand Parent.?Try everything you can to get the poor thing some help. If thing's don't work out, you can take care of the babies yourself. I did it several years ago and accomplishing that felt really good. Ask for help here, there's lot's of people that are real willing to help you if worse comes to worse. Bless you and good luck. Go now, get on the phone, get busy. Don't waste any time, she doesn't have it to waste.

Does your mom have a charge card? Did you call the vet to talk to them about this situation? Maybe take her and her pups to the humane society or a rescue group that can properly take care of her.

If she dies, and IF her pups survive, make sure you find good homes for those babies and your mom doesn't get any more animals, one needs to be a responsible pet owner to have a pet.

Absolutely Horrible.

Watch the canines eyes next time, do they loose concentration. if so it really is a seizure, a 5-15 minute seizure is sever, What meds did the vet supply your? Phinobar is the most elementary for seizures they take it two times an afternoon established. Any time you get meds for your self or your canines, ask what it really is and what it really is for. Are her legs stiff (seizure), attempt clapping your palms and yelling her call, it use to assist with my canines that had seizures.

Holy $hit. Take your friggin dog to the vet!! She may have some sort of infection from giving birth. Ask your mom if she would take you to the doctor if you were having spasms or if she would let you sit there any die because you "can't afford it." You people are responsible for another living being - do you get that??!!
Be re-fu*king-sponsible!!!!

this could be hypocalcium. Try at least some tums for calcium but she really needs a vet.
