I imagine silk plants give more realistic movement, but are there algae issues to consider or any other considerations before I make my choice?

found that white Parakeets (my experinces is with the females) are crazy? I've had two white Parakeets, that were nasty to the other birds, they were distuptive and bit an awful lot. They were and are very unplesant to have. I have one now that picks up and drops the feed bowl. All my other Parakeets don't act this way and I have 5 more. These birds I know weren't abused, they came from good homes. Has anyone had this happen?

I have looked everywhere, petfinder, newspaper and my vet. Our old boy died about 1 year ago (he was 11 years old) and we miss him a lot. I do not like puppies and I am interested in just getting an older - 3 to 6 year old to keep her eye on us. I will not get any other kind of dog, but a Newfie. Please if you can help me find a spayed OR neutered (Ozzie used to show dominance over our boys and their friends - THEY thought it was funny). So I thought a female won't have this problem. I don't want to breed, just give a home to a wonderful dog. We have 5 children and the youngest is used to being pushed around by BIG dogs.

He listens really well except for when I try to brush him or spray flea stuff on him. Granted, he is spoiled rotten and hasn't been fixed. He's been getting agressive lately when I try to groom him. Help! I love my dog and would never want to get rid of him but I don't know what do. I mean I don't want a dog that I have to worry about biting me or someone else.

does anyone know or could give some advice on how i can control him and stop him from biting because when he gets excited he goes crazy? any help/advice would be really appreciated as i want to avoid going to obedience classes as it would be difficult to make the time to go to them but if thats the only thing to do then fair enough it will have to be done. im just soooo worried incase he snaps at a little child.

I have a great big male chocolate labrodor who is six years old. He is not neutered because he is pure bred and also we dont want his personality changed. But the problem is he goes mental when we take him for walks and tears our arms out. I can walk him and keep him in check but its still painful. Will taking him for more walks teach him to be more calm and behave better or will it just result in sore arms?

My cat has an exceptionally long tail and it spazes out all the time. Does anyone know why cats wag their tail? Why would the cats tail twitch and spaz? (He was hit by a car, we think maybe he is not right)

I'm not sure what to do anymore. Rory has been out of control for months now. But last night was the ultimate. He peed all over my coveted picture of Bea Arthur (in a yellow bikini-circa 1970). First he was pooping all over, and now this. I am afraid I am going to have to give him away. He knows how much I loved that picture. It must have fallen off the wall. He was always jealous of Bea! I know he was, because I often saw him sighing and groaning when I admired it. I know dogs don't have "human" emotions, but I swear Rory did this on purpose to show he is boss. Do you think a female Great Dane would appease him. I was thinking of buying one (Emerald). Please advise. Thanks all....

We have Tigger who is about 16 years old and the past few days we have noticed that he is losing weight and acting weird. We have a baby gate up so the puppies can't get in the laundry room where his food and litter box are and he isn't able to get over it anymore. This is the only cat that I have ever had that was this old so I am wondering if this is normal when they get old and if this could just be a phase. If this isn't a phase do they live much longer once this happens? Thank you in advance, my husband got Tigger when he was in middle school so he is part of the family.

The last one I tried to save from the pet store which was their last one did end up dieing after 2 days. This one though is very active and was a favorite of the petstore owner. So he was already loved. I think maybe call him Azure (italian for blue) like the soccor team what do U all think?

I have a seven year old Rottweiller/Olde English mix and he has suffered with demodex for the last five years. I took him to several different vet's trying to get rid of it. We finally settled on a vet that started treatment with medicated shampoo's and one and one half cc's given orally for ten day's and up'ed one half cc every ten day's till we reach two and a half cc's, and then we back it off in the same incrument's and then stop it. That does work, but for only about five or six month's. I do NOT like giving this med to him, I know what it does to him, It's the only thing that's given him a good quality of life that I've found. Anyone have a CURE, help!
