what breed? I need to know the name/breed of the dog with the excess skin that looks like alot of wrinkles!?

The Shar Pei is a fighting dog from China. In a fight if a dog bites the Shar Pei's skin and clamps down, the skin is so loose that the Shar Pei can turn around and tear the offending canine easily. They are arguably the ugliest dog alive, loved only by their masters.

That would be a sharpei. I own one. Suki's her name (hence my nickname Suki's Mom...). They have a lot of wrinkles when they are puppies, but stretch out a bit when grown. Even though they are a very old breed, sharpeis became almost extinct during the Revolution in China, when in became illegal to keep dogs as pets. A breeder in Hong Kong rescued the breed in the 20th century. Sharpeis come in a variety of colors, but may never have spots or something. Their small triangular ears are supposed to lay close to their heads. They have a pigs tail. Suki is cream colored with a red nose and amber slanted eyes. She is a beautiful dog and often when she is out in the front yard, people stop to look at her. If you plan to get one, inform yourself well. They tend to be high maintenance! Suki made such a difference in our lives, I cannot begin to tell you. My husband and I are probably still together today because of her, as she will not allow us to even raise our voices. We love her very much.
