I wonder though, if there was a way to track the spped of underwater creatures if any swim faster than that?

Cheetah - 70 miles per hour. The person who says cougar might be using a different name for the same animal (British English vs. American English). They can only maintain this speed for very short distances, but is still mighty impressive! They are extremely endangered, which is too bad as they are beautiful big jungle cats.

If you tie a huge space shuttle with a blue whale and launch it above the sea and reach the highest point in the atmosphere and cut the rope and I am damn sure it's the fastest mammal in the whole universe including dark matter and antimatter (incusive of blackholes).
