Once a week - but you shouldn't change the actual bedding that often(where the hamster sleeps). When you clean the cage change just the wood shavings or whatever you use on the floor of the cage. Hamsters get agitated when there actual bed gets changed too often they tend to make it as they like it.

a complete clean atleast once a week, that includes binning all shavings and bedding, disinfecting the cage and food bowls/water bottles, hamster wheel etc with a 'pet safe' disinfectant and putting new shavings and bedding back in the cage. Discard of any old, uneaten food. Hamsters should have fresh water everyday, and fresh food everyday.
Im guilty though, i have left my hamster for three weeks without cleaning her out before... but she alway has fresh water and food every night...

Do you mean its hutch or the hamster itself?
Assuming the former once a week, ifthe latter it really depends on how good it is at black jack. My hamster is a better cardplayer than me & so he usually cleans me out.
I get my own back by flushing him down the toilet. Dont worry its not cruel I always rescue him before he goes down the drain & then I dry his fur in the microwave

about once a week, but try not to disturb its bed too much, only change this once a month unless its dirty as you hamster does not like it's bed unmade too often. You will find the bed part stays clean as they go to the toilet in another corner of the cage.

Once a week. If you want to kill the germs without killing Cheeky, take him out, dump the shavings, and spray a mixture of vinegar & water to wipe the corners of his cage. When it dries, the vinegar smell and the pee smell will be gone. Never use chemical cleaners near your hamster or he will have a stroke and die.

Pop cheeky in the washing machine on a delicate cycle at 40 degrees. If you have a crease free wash then all the better. Gentle spin cycle too. Stick him in the tumble dryer and he'll look good as new!! ( put on low heat else he may shrink)

Depends on a few things
The weather if its hot it'll smell more so more often is best
if he hordes his food then left to long could make it go mouldy.
also if he is dirty thing need to be cleaned out often.
I'd say 2 a week
