I went into the cage today, picked him up, and i guess from the stress of moving to a new house a few days ago, he got some kind of build up, see http://answers.yahoo.com/question/?qid=20060906234732AA0u08d for details. anywho, i never got to ask why he breaths so heavy, ill try to record it with my microphone and edit it so you can hear it. you can go here for it, copy paste it into the address bar.
i dont know if this is a usual noise that they make, please listen to is so i can confirm you dont get confused by some other problem he might have.

I have a 9 yr old ottb that has done this twice now. He goes into convulsions and acts like he has colic but does not. He won't eat very much and he looks at his belly often but is still passing manure. He lays down often also. He did this last fall too but ended up getting stuck under a board and it resulted in him colicking, but he hasn't colicked this time. Please help.

My 10mo. TerriPoo has allergies - she's constantly sneezing whenever we go for walks. Is it okay if I give her one benadryl a day w/o having taking her to the Vet? My Vet is way too expensive.

Thank you.

I could really use some vet advice or any advice from someone who has had experience with this.

My dog has actually had three surgeries for torn ligaments. One on his left leg, which turned out fine, and TWO on his right leg. After the FIRST surgery on his problem (right) leg, after 3 weeks he tore 2 inner stitches out, then he had the 2nd (re-do) surgery. The surgeon put an extra inner stitch in (for extra support) during the second surgery. We were very careful with him and kept him kenneled for the prescribed amount of time, and he seemed OK, even though it seemed that the recooperation time took longer that time. Seven months later, he started limping on that leg again, so we had him x-rayed. The vet said his stitches were still intact and looking good and that perhaps he had some arthiritus. He has now been taking rhemidil for a month, but his leg is getting worse. He is now holding that leg completely off the ground approx. 50 to 75 percent of the time.

I have two female cats both about 8-9 years old. They have lived together for the past 3 years. I never had problems with them until this year.

Every day I find a place or multiple places in the house where one of them has thrown up. I have caught them both doing it. Nothing has changed that I feel would affect them such as a new pet or moving. I have tried changing their food, giving them smaller/ larger amounts of food, multiple bowls/ one bowl. I haven't seen any changes in their behavior.

I asked a vet once what to do and she recommended everything I have already tried.

Can anyone give me an idea of why they might be doing this and what I can do to stop this behavior?

My cat is completely nuts about my earlobe! Since he was a kitten, he latches onto my earlobe whenever he can. Sometimes he's insane trying to get to my ear. I have to hide under the covers from him to get away from him. He is 2-1/2 years old now and keeps wanting to suck ears. It's getting really old! Help. What can I do to stop this behavior? I feel bad denying him my ear because he is so happy and purrs and purrs when he's sucking my ear, but it's really creepy!!!

I swear my cat can convey what he's thinking or feeling through the looks he gives me. I swear he can give dirty looks (and friendly and other looks as well).

My mom found this baby kitten at her work place where it was starving to death. I guess the mother just abandond it. She's a tiny white cat with black ears, black tail, and black feet.

What are your favorite cat names? I like exotic names like Shasta or Shana. Or maybe Lily.

Best name will be chosen Best Answer! :-)
