this 2 are counted as exotic and wild animals,i dun think it is legal to keep them ,But you can try keeping a sugar glider,i think it is legal in some countries,a sugar glider is a cute little fellow that glide around the house and they belong to part of the squirel family, they loves fruits and anything sweet

Matt, great choice, take an animal used to the wild and try to domesticate it. Gee and asking about the animals lifestyle, I am certain that both the chipmunk and squirrel are party animals and spend their weekends chasing the opposite sex., maybe even each other. I think you would be better off getting yourself a gerbil or a hamster and pretend that they are squirrels and chipmunks. You can go to your local pet store and get them complete with instructions on how to raise them, in fact get one of each sex and watch them multiply.

Enjoy your new found hobby?????

They are hard to get because squirrels and chipmunks might be cute and furry, but are quite wild animals. They can be trained to be somewhat domesticated, but they will never fully be. I'd be careful about getting such as pets to begin with.

I dont think that pets like that are available, but if so make sure that it gets its shots and regular visits to the vet, just like any other animal. Also, give it space and feed it things like fruit and nuts. They need to run around so build or have something built for it to stay in.

Go to the pet store and get a rabbit, a hamster, a gerbil, a guinea pig, a rat or a ferret instead.

I advise badly against such a pet... In my past year birthday one bit me viciously in the man region and caused psychological demons to haunt me to future day.
Try a bird...gentle as the wind...songs of unicorns...
Be happy girl.

sit in the park and put nuts in your mouth, be very very quiet.....................and very very still---when the squirrel creeps into your mouth to eat the nuts, either snap your mouth shut quickly (which might be difficult if the squirrel is very fat) or else grab him--while he is still on your face eating the nuts.............
