I started bringing my cat to work when he was a kitten, and now I bring him in twice a week. I have heard of people bringing dogs to work, but never cats - I can't be the only cat lover with a cat friendly office.

I'll take any Parrot diet advice you can give. I think she might be bored with her food - although she eats it all. She has peanuts, apples, and Zupreme and Avian Gold parrot food. She's a sun conure.

My beloved goldfish, Glitter passed away yesterday. I don’t want to simply bury her in the yard with no fanfare, I would prefer to at least play a song in her honor. Any thoughts on the final song?

OK…I’ve got four cats, Rory, Emerald, Alice and Trixie. They each have their own litter box, as my vet advised in case of illnesses. My problem is that the cost of continuously throwing out the litterboxes when they are full is prohibitive. My girlfriend argued with me that most people simply clean out the boxes and refill them with litter. Is she right? I’ve never heard of such nonsense. It makes me shiver in disgust to even think of putting my hands in the box to empty the poop and pee. The cost of buying new litter boxes every second or third day is expensive, to say the least. I have spent over $1,000 in the last four months. How can people stand running their hands through this disgusting stuff? Yuck!

My 2 year old male dog, who isn't neutered, has just recently started trying to hump my husband everytime he lays down to go to sleep at night. The dog will not try and mount me or anyone else, just my husband. It is getting to the point where it is every single night before bed, our dog will come up on the bed, start licking my husband, then try to mount him. Why does he do this and how can we make him stop?

We have just added a new male dog into a home that already had two male dogs they have all started marking their terroirty. My main question is should they be kept in locked crates during our working hours or have the run of the laundry room, which is what they have now but there making a mess since they have the run of this room.

I am planning to purchase a dog. I have a 2 yr old daughter, and we are alone most of the time, and would like to have a dog inside the house with us for a feeling of security. What types of dog (I would like medium size or smaller) are good with small children? And which breed are good guard dogs, to have inside the house?

I just found out that my dog has developed diabetes, nd she is only 7 years old. She also developed cateracts as a side effect, and i now have to give her 2 shots of of insulin a day, along with a change in her diet. This isn't a big deal, i just haven't heard of this being all that common.

I have two cats, an 11 year old male, Zeke, and a 5 month old female, Frankie. Zeke has this routine during early afternoon and at night where picks up the same toy and walks around with it in his mouth meowing. This always fascinates Frankie and she comes close to him and stares. When he sees that she's nearby, Zeke will face Frankie, still with the toy in his mouth, and he kicks back repeatedly with his hind legs. My husband thinks he looks like he's humping the floor but I'm not sure. When Zeke was the only cat, he never did this weird routine. He started doing it when we got Frankie, so I think it's some weird feline social behavior, but Frankie doesn't seem to understand either...lol Zeke is neutered, and Frankie, although not spayed yet, isn't in heat. Is my cat demented, or just trying to communicate something?
