My 4 month old puppy has been developing something very shocking to me. He is a chocolate lab with a beautiful dark brown coat, but he has one spot in his tail that is beginning to turn gray. We were going to breed him and this may look bad when it comes to appearance. Why is this happening? Any incite on why this what would have spurred this?

I have out side kennel but they do not spend much time only to do their business and i clean it up right away so not to encourage the situation. I have never had a dog to do that before. What do your users suggest I do to stop this activity?

We are building a house and they sprayed the cement with sealent, (tar) and our dog's tail is now covered. (i was watching him, but you know dogs) My dad said gasoline, but i don't like that sound of that. I tried dish soap and some came off. I'll have to cut most of the hair I know! It's on his skin too, is it going to give him a chemical burn?

Does anyone know if scoopable kitty litter is bad for cats? My cat was coughing so I took her to the vet today thinking it was from hairballs--he said they don't cough from hairballs and suggested changing my litter--to a dust free one--but I use to use the regular not scoopable litter--anyone know if one is better than another for your cat?
