I was told it was because they smell like a female dogs fanny, anyone know any different?

It is not because they smell like a female dogs "fanny", unless you stick them there. Lol, also, They do like everyone has said like salt from the seat and that is alo why they like to lick your hands and face, and it's because if you walk around in tennies all day your feet will smell atleast a little, and they have a keen smell, which is also why you see (mostly puppies) sticking their faces in your shoes. It's because they love cheese! By the way, female dogs also lick feet; I suppose then that some feet must smell like dogs' dicks!

a case awhile ago where the dog was licking a ladies legs all the time and apparently by doing so he saved her life...she had poor circulation and the dog seemed to sense that ..so if a dog licks you then just let it ...you never know

Your feet could smell like that of a dog's behind, but it is probably not the case.
Dogs like smelly things, including feet.
He could also just be showing you some affection.

Cant tell you the reason for it, but i like it.

Dog's like the taste of salt and to them our feet are really salty

My dog does that all the time and she drives me nuts as I hate my feet been touched, guess its for the salt and sweat.

it is from the salt dogs love it thats why they also lick your face and hands..also a shower could stop it for a few hours...lol
