i have a 5 month, i believe to be half gient lop, rabbit which already wieghs 6lb 6. is this avrerage and what will he wiegh fully grown?

the thing with cross breed bunnies is that you never know until they stop lol, most large breed bunnies will keep growing until between 7-12mths then again your bun could have already reached its full size. the only thing you can do is to make sure its not overweight and it will keep growing or not lol. were you told it was a large breed when you bought it? did the petshop/breeder say what breed(s) it is? giant breedas like flemish or british giants can reach up to 20pounds at full size however if your bun is 6pounds at five months its most likely it won't get over 10 pounds fully grown.

I have a 12 month lop, not sure what her weight is but she is BIG. The people I bought her from as a baby assured me she was a dwarf lop - if this is a dwarf then a large lop must be the size of a cow.

I have a half lop rabbit that I call "fat cow" the kids call her Roo after Rooney.
She is about 12months and weighs about that much. She likes eating, you would think that being a vegetarian, that she would not put on so much weight, but that is not the case. I hope that she does not get much bigger, or she will need a new hutch.
We also have a dwarf rabbit called Doc [think about it!] he is about the size of her back leg.

Full giants can weigh upwards of 20 pounds or more when full grown. When a rabbit is a mixed breed, it depends on the genetics game. Do you have a way of posting or e-mailing a picture of the rabbit to me? I might be able to help further if I could see him.
