My duck Athena's tongue is a very light pink and about 3 inches long and about 1/2 to 3/4 inches wide. I've never seen it stick out in the front or hang to the side, but when it is hot she will keep her mouth open and pants like a dog so I can see it. She also does this when it is not hot, so i think she is laughing at me.

Yes, of course they do have tongues. Try visiting a petting zoo or going to a park and feeding them, if you have any nearby.

yes they look very different than most tongues they are barbed looking and real thin...strange looking....when geese hiss at you look in their mouth and you will see them holding their tongue up
