That is a link to english bulldog rescue, all of the rescue reps will be more than willing to talk about the breed with you. I know some of them can have health problems, but they have a lot of good quirks too. Also, at the top of that page there is a link to breeders sorted by state. Most good breeders will spend as much time as you want discussing the breed with you; the good and bad aspects. The best place to start asking is the rescue reps though, their specialty is discussing the breed pros and cons and making sure the breed is a good match for you.

WAY overbred. Many genetic problems. Smash nosed dogs all have problems breathing, and getting oxygen to their lungs. Tire easily, sinus infections. If you still go forward, so a lot of research, make sure that the dam/sire have all the proper med tests. Make sure that you have access to them.

Expensive to buy, expensive to maintain. Buy from a good show breeder who does health testing to minimize huge Vet bills and heartache later on.
