My girlfriend tragically lost her prized bird. She is grief stricken. He was quite a fine specimen. The birds I've seen locally look a bit rough. Although I can't replace her lost bird, I hope to help ease the pain with a new feathered companion for her.

I heard from someone that you need to bathe your fish. How exactly does one bathe a fish? I think that person is nuts.

I have a dog for three years now and he always has been a nervous and scared dog, but lately he's becoming more and more aggressive to people he doesn't know. The other day he almost bitten a man how passed near him on the street. Can you suggest any effective method to end this behaviour?

I have two 10-month-old cats who go nuts in the middle of the night - running all over my apartment, jumping on my bed, scratching at the walls, meowing, biting my feet, etc. I love the little guys, but they wake me up 6-7 times a night!

Shutting my bedroom door doesn't help much, since they just sit outside crying and scratching at the door.

Any tips on how to get them to calm down and (if possible) sleep through the night?

My female cat is congested and sniffley. My kids and I had colds about a week ago. Is it possible that she caught it? How do I treat her for her cold?

I was wondering since my chicken likes to eat mashed potatoes and bread. I'm not planning to kill him, but hypothetically, lets say if If I HAD to eat him, I'm not say I would, will he taste any different? And will he attack other chickens thinking they taste like unfrozen chicken nuggets?

BTW.. I WASN't sure what category to put this as, so I put it under birds because putting it inder foods and drinks would make me sound strange.

I have had bad luck with dogs in the past, but I recently adopted a tiny little chihuahua from the shelter and she is a total doll. I think she was abused because she is very fearful, but she is so pleasant, goes potty outside! Not a nervous, yapping mess like the chi I had before, who else has found their perfect dog at the pound? Tell me about your little angel.

Does anyone know what is good for a pet dog that has seborhea. It is an itchy redness usually found on the belly. Our vet says there is no cure. However she is driven crazy by the scratching and will flare up with shampoo harshness or clipping. I am looking for something that will cause some relief to the itch.

When I hand feed my rat, he takes the food gently, and then puts the food down, and washes himself before eating. He also washes after eating. So how can people say that rats are "dirty"?

My partner, of late, decided it would be a good idea to take Wolfgang to the Gulf of Mexico. He said, "there's a lot of sand there, and waves, and, like, he can chase the waves and it'll be fun..." I thought, "your momma dropped you on the head once too often," but went along with it, as usual, when he gets these goofy ideas. Wolfgang did not have a good time. Your experience?

I found what looked liked a bird egg on a rock when I went up to Lake Las Vegas with my folks last Sunday(It looked to be about the size of a tennis ball). I lef it on the rock cause my sister said to, I felt guilty about leaving it there, although I don't know if it was still viable or not.

But I was thinking I probably won't leave it if a scenario like that happens to me again. I don't think I could handle the guilt.

Although, what do you think?

I'm probably gonna go with my first thought and not leave it there, but I thought I should get another opinion from someone else.

I recently moved and she went from being an indoor/outdoor dog to being in a kennel full time. The kennel is big enough to run since it has three runs that can be closed off separately or run all three. She is fed and watered daily, I haven't changed her food or anything. She just keeps losing weight even though she is eating the food. She is about 10yrs old and a mixed breed.
