Whenever they come over, he immediately starts barking and growling the moment he hears them. Once they get into the backyard, he follows them around and tries to bite them. He see's them every week, so they aren't complete strangers to him. He's never hostile towards other strangers either.

Please don't respond with telling me to get him trained and all that other useless stuff.

I really don't understand why people even ask a question if they don't want to receive an honest answer, based in the information they've supplied!

Example:
My dog has had diarrhea and been vomiting, not eating or drinking for two days now, what should I do?

An honest and knowledgeable answer, according to the information supplied would be:

You need to take your dog to a vet, pronto! Your dog could be suffering from any number of problems, but only a vet can determine the exact cause.

Then you have someone reply to the question with an assinine answer:
Oh, it's probably something he ate. Just offer him some Pepto and wait a couple of days and see if he improves before spending any money!

So...they original questioner picks that answer as the "best answer" and says, "Thank you so much, I feel much better now. I was afraid that he was really sick and might die!"

Why even asked a question if you only want to read answers that make you "feel so much better"?

It's coming up to her birthday and I want to make her a pressie. Dog? Chinchilla? Orang-Utan? I hear they're pretty easy to catch.

I just recently got a dinosaur eel. I discovered that it is a boy and he is rude and aggressive. I like him! I want a wierd and unusual name but something that goes with his personality.

My son has just bought an 8wk old french mastiff pup. He is gorgeous, but I know how big he will grow. We had an English Mastiff before and although she was great with the family she would bite anyone else which made it very difficult to look after her, I don't want the same problems again - so any tips please.

I have a 8 month old male dog by the name of Buddy. My husband and I are at witts end with Buddy because despite the constant training, he still is dumber than a rock and continues to disobey us and do things like dig in trash, chew and pee everywhere. We have tried everything we could think of from crate training, chewtoys, love, shouting no and rubbing his nose in it; to teaching him tricks with very savory rewards. We have had Buddy for almost 5 months now and we have tried (and at the time thought he was sucessful) to tech him sit, rollover, lay down, shake, speak, etc. and he will get the trick we are teaching him at the time and forget all the others. We also once thought that we sucessfuly potty trained him bu feeding him 2 times a day and taking him outside constantly, but now were noticing that there are countless little wet spots all over our carpets and discovered that he pees a little here and there everywhere letting the carpet soak it up. What can I do to train this dog??
