sounds like maybe u left some fruit/veggies in the cage and have fruit flies? if so make sure u clean his cage well. get rid of any leftover fruit if it's not eaten within a couple hours. if its not eaten by then chances are u either gave him too much or he doesnt like it. they should only get small pieces or they can get sick. also make sure to clean the pee corner every couple days-just scoop and replace that corner.

I Think You Meant Fleas!

Borax Powder AND Fleas

Put Borax Powder on your carpet fairly heavy Brush into the fibers and leave for
3 days. Vacuum after this. Do not allow a child to crawl on it till its vacuumed. Also
don't walk barefoot. Won't hurt you except will sting if you have a cut on your foot.
It dries out the eggs and any fleas in the carpet.

Try an alternative recipe using eight parts Borax cleaning powder to one part table salt. Follow the above procedure, except you should vacuum after one week. These powders work by drying out the fleas' habitat and dehydrating both the larvae and adults.

Flea collars offer varying degrees of effectiveness. Flea treatments such as Advantage and Frontline offer high levels of effectiveness with low levels of toxicity for humans and pets.

Treat your home by vacuuming thoroughly and frequently. Use of diatomaceous earth (DE) is a very effective substance for killing fleas (as well as ants and several other pests) but has low toxicity for humans and pets. Spread a dusting onto carpets, upholstery and pet bedding. Wear goggles and a dust mask to avoid breathing the dust.

Use of a borax and water mixture in a carpet cleaner is another low-toxicity method to break the reproductive cycle of fleas. It does not kill adult fleas but the borate binds to carpet fibers and prevents fleas from maturing thus breaking the reproductive cycle. This treatment can be effective for up to a year. While borax powder can be sprinkled onto the carpet and the excess vacuumed up, the powder poses some hazard for your lungs and so the wet method is preferred.

your hamster has flies? how unusual! you should do some research on at www.google.com or www.ask.com because that's just not something that usually happens and second of all they sell a huge varieties of fly traps that you should probably put in your room to help your hamster out and you.( i suggest the hanging sticky fly traps like farmers put in there barns etc. . Also make sure all your windows are shut, and all doors are closed at all times possible also remember that flies can be atracted to sent so your shampoo might be atracting them or somthing in your hamsters cage is atracting them ( possibly the food but don't take the food out!) Do the research and start investigating.hope I helped!
