I don't have a "lawn" area in my backyard where my dog can do his business. However, he has made one area (of my concreted backyard) his bathroom. I clean it on a daily basis. First, scooping up the poop with a pooper scooper and then pouring some bleach on the affected areas then hosing it down with water. I use bleach so it can kill the germs, especially to kill off the smell.

I am sure it is affecting whatevers "downstream". Do you have any suggestions to avoid contaminating the freshwater runoff? I've used simple green before, and I know that is non-toxic... but the "wet dog/poop" smell still remained. Bleach does the job for me.

Ok so ''my cat'' gave birth to 6 kittens, and they have been here for about 2 maybe 3 weeks. The mother cat has just gone missing for about maybe 45 minutes I`ve tried everyhing and it seems that she isnt anywhere in our yard. (Note: she and the kittens live outside) So should i go and pick up some kitten formula at a pet store?? Or what should i do?? The kittens are crying it seems they are really hungry.

If not, what is the minimum incentive you would accept to have the operation done? $10? $50? A 6-pack of beer? Or would you refuse to have it done all together? You name the price.

By the way, no you will not be getting a 6-pack of beer or the like for answering this question. The reason why I ask is because someone is thinking of starting a program that would spay/neuter your pet for free or even pay you to have it done. I am just curious as to how people would feel about this and what incentive it would require.

I have a 20 gal filter that has worked great for about a year, and just recently it started making a noise. Its like a grinding almost (the sound it makes when you change the filter and it fills back up). What can I do or should I just get a new one?

I have all three. The leopard gecko and russian tortoise are in a cage together. They have lived together since we got them when I was 4. They bond greatly. The kingsnake lives by herself. She is good by herself but I think she misses her tank buddies. She only lived with the gecko and turtle for a few hours. The reason they were seperated was because when we took the snake and gecko out of the cage at the same time they were face to face and the snake tried to attack the gecko. The snake is only a baby and the cages are the same size. They have different things in their cage but both have a heating pad and light. The snake has aspen bedding and the turtle and gecko have coconut bark, sand, and moss. Is this a suitable invironment for them to all live together? All of them healthy and clear of diseases.

See, my dog (a standard poodle) loves playing the drums. But he plays terrible whenever he does. One day I told him to stop playing because I hated the way he plays!
