Anyone here breed rabbits?

If so, which type do you have, and how much do you sell them for?

I use to breed Mini Lops, New Zealands and Netherland Dwarfs. The Mini Lops and New Zealands would go for $15-25 and the Netherlands would go for usually about $25-35 because they are not good mothers.

I have english lops ( $25 and up )
Holland lops ($75 and up because I have rare varietys)
Mini rex ( $25-$100) again I have some rare varietys)
Jersey Woolys ( $40 & up) rare varietys
Netherlands ( $20 and up depending on quality and variety)
Velveteen lops ( $40 and up depending on quality)

Most of what doesnt get sold goes into my freezer as well. My rabbits are priced pretty cheap compared to a lot of other breeders in my area.... but they are priced according to pedigree, lines, quality, wins etc. They are not backyard breeder $5 rabbits. I raise only high quality show rabbits.

Snapzen does have a point, dont breed if you dont know what your doing....backyard breeders are the ones that fill up the shelters not the responsible breeders......they know how to cull their unwanted stock.

I have San Juans, Rexes, Flemmish Giants, Holland Lops, and New Zealands, we sell them from $5.00 to $15.00

I used to breed angora rabbits. I would groom them for their wool and spin into yarn for wonderful sweaters. Can't say I ever sold them, more like gave them away. They were fun . . .for a while.

i breed dutch,harliquin, minni lops and new zelands rabbits i sell them for anywhere between 5 and 10 dollars

Please don't breed rabbits. There are so many unwanted bunnies in kill shelters as it is.
