My 12 week old Kitten jumps out of her litterbox before she is "finished" pottying, and I dont mean urinating.....
then she drags her behind on the carpet to remove the excess that sticks to her. How can I get her to stop? I've taken her to the vet and had her wormed and checked out...what now?

I am not afraid of pitbull's. My pit is so loving and loves everyone including children, other dogs and cats. I think that it is not the breed of the dog, but in how they are raised. I remember in the 1980's the "vicious" breeds were Rottwieler's, Doberman's, and German Shepards. These breeds are now considered our family pets. I detest anyone who will use dog's for dog fights, and make the animal mean. I think that the media hypes up pit attacks, you never hear about fluffy the poodle biting anyone, because it simply is not news worthy enough for the public. But I personly know that any dog can bite for various reasons. I hate when I tell people I have a pitbull because they give me that look, like I am crazy. I love pit's and I would recommed the breed to everyone. So why are people ignorant about this breed?

She has heaps of toys, lots of 'outside' time, but she has a continual habit of 'covering her stuff' in the litter tray even if she hasnt used it? Its like she does it for the sake of it everytime she passes it? its driving me mad cos it goes everywhere but more to the point, why does she do it?

I know "most" cats HATE water. my 2 year old female can't stand the sight of any water(except her water bowl). but my kitten absolutly loves it!!!! it's soooooo funny to watch. I obviously can't use a spray bottle full of water for trying to train him to stay off of things. LOL!!! my kitties a little crazy. I wasn't going to ask a question I just wanted to see what you would say about my water kitty!!! oh, but for some reason he hates baths. go figure!!! makes no sense to me!! =^-^=

My horse was driven into a barbed-wire fence yesterday and was tangled in it. He has a severe laceration to the top of his left front leg, just below the chest. The muscle doesn't APPEAR to have been ripped, and it is not bleeding really. I used hydrogen peroxide to clean it out and then vaseline to cover the wound last night, then this morning I covered the wound with a large bandage. He is limping severely and can hardly lift his leg, but when he was first freed from the fence he ran off with no apparent limp, so I think he's just sore. Should I sew him up? If so, what should I do to clean the wound before closing it up? Or, should I take him to a vet to have it done? Any thoughts? Thanks.

My boyfriend has a small dairy farm, and I go there every day to help take care of the animals. They have always had barn cats, but usually just a handfull of healthy ones. The past 2 years have brought an unusually large amount of kittens, and feral kitties appeared, and now I am seeing viruses, lice, and battle wounds associated with having too many cats. We are not the type to hurt the cats, and many are considered family pets. My boyfriend says they have overpopulated because his sisters feed them too much, but we can't just stop feeding them now that they are there! Nobody has the funds to start neutering them, and they tell me it is $$ down the drain if they get hit on the road. If I treat our favorites only, won't they just get healthier and have MORE babies? And won't the feral ones give diseases back to the pets? Serious suggestions or personal experience with this ONLY. Rude answers will be reported, I really care and want to help the situation.

I was like wtf!!!! I know it's the BEST thing to do for our pets and our society. she told me that cats/dogs don't have a say about getting spayed/neutered and that she would NEVER do anything like that to "harm" her animals. I got into a very big argument with her over this situation. in my opinion, people just don't see the importance of this surgery. people in this world don't realize just how many unwanted cats/kit or dogs/pups are sitting in shelters awaiting for a loving home which will probably never come for them!!! I'm not mentioning about the breeders, only these stupid irresponsible pet owners who just don't want to have their cats/dogs spayed/neutered because either they think it's "cruel" or they're down right lazy and don't care!!! oh, and by the way, the lady I argued with, her cat was fixing to have a litter of kittens soon. so my question is: why would any pet owner believe this idiotic and uneducated statement that it's cruel to spay/neuter your pets?
