My 12 week old Kitten jumps out of her litterbox before she is "finished" pottying, and I dont mean urinating.....
then she drags her behind on the carpet to remove the excess that sticks to her. How can I get her to stop? I've taken her to the vet and had her wormed and checked out...what now?

she will just have to grow out of that stage. when my cat was a kitten, she would hang her butt over the side of the cat box and crap on the floor as she was standing in the cat box.
your kitten will mature. but until then, put down plastics or an old rug near the box so it wont get on your carpet.

It she is a cat with very long fur, then they do sometimes have problems with "stuff" sticking to their fur, and also getting it completely out, as the fur acts as a barrier. You could try carefully clipping the fur underneath her tail to remove this problem, and see if it helps.

As to her getting out of her litterbox prematurely, it may be a habit she has gotten into because she is anticipating the problem with the "stuff" sticking, and in her cat way thinks she has found the solution to clean herself up. So try the fur clipping, and then if you can, try to notice when she is using her litterbox. Approach her calmly, and gently hold her in the box until she has properly finished. If she stresses too much let her go.

But just hopefully, if you have clipped the fur under her tail and made it easier for her to go and stay clean, she will once again follow normal cat behaviour, and cover up her "stuff" in the litterbox when she is done. I think patience is going to be the key.

Maybe the kitten is constipated.

I would recommend trying to catch the kitten in the act (I know this will be difficult and time consuming). Make sure the kitten stays in the box until she is done, then use her paws to bury the poop. This behavior might not completely go away. Occasionally I catch my 10 year old cat walking around will a small chuck of poo stuck to her butt.

Take your kitten to the vet and tell them that she's dragging her behind along the floor. That's not usually a good sign.

well, if u're SURE that there's nothing wrong with ur cat, try to wait in front of it until it finshied its business. try to keep it inside the litter box until u sure that it finished.
