No; they will probably grow out of it; they are bringing you food to show how much they love you. Have them both neutered and they will settle down- they are at the right age at 5 months, and neutering will stop them roaming about collecting for the tea-table! Abetter idea is to have them neutered then keep them indoors, where they will be safe from parasites, diseases, car drivers, perverts and packs of dogs. Its much kinder; they will need worming very regularly if you let them out, especially if mousing. They can also get urinary tract infections from mice, which can kill.

This probly won't be very helpful, but here's a different veiw point. Probly not what you want to hear, but here is the cat's reasoning behind it. When a cat brings you kills they are showing you their love. When they bring you "gifts" they expect to be praised and cuddled, and then when they turn away, satisfied that you love them, then you can throw it away. I always praise my boy when he brings me birds, but then i throw it immediately in the garbage. What you might try to do is show them that you aren't particularly pleased with the gift. Scold them and let them watch you throw away the mouse. They might get the message.

That's very tricky, because they are bringing their kills to you to show off their prowess and/or as a tribute to you.

I have never successfully stopped my cat bringing home her kills. At best I have managed to stop her bringing them right into the house by repeatedly chasing her out and making it clear to her that the kills are unwelcome inside the house.

Oh they love you so much they are bringing you presents. You can't stop them if they are cats that are allowed to go out, i've had pigeons, rats, mice, birds, goldfish. The little menaces cleared out someones pond and brought them home to me, god knows what they thought i was gonna do with them, fry them lol.

Do not discourage it. That is a vital growing process for a cat. It makes them feel proud, builds self esteem.

As you say it is in their nature, and you can't really stop them from bringing you kills. They see them a giftd for you from them for looking after them and feeding them. You will just have to put up with clearing them away sorry

If you don't want kills, leave them inside. The reason they are doing it is because they are trophies and they are proud of them. They love you and bring them to you so you can have the choice cuts.

They are just being cats. I had one when I was a kid that bought us a live fish from a nearby pond and was always bringing in birds and such. It's just something they do.

It is part of letting a cat outside.

Keep him indoors. Otherwise, he will continue to kill. It's what a cat does. It's in their nature to hunt.
