She is a really good dog but she keeps me up all night and I have to take her outside like 4 times a day and I kinda want to get rid of it but my aunt doesn't want me to but she doesn't understand that im up all night and school is like starting in a week what should i do?

I am moving into a house just off campus and the house next door is abandoned. There is the sweetest dog living there, but he is stuck in the back yard. My roommates (who have lived there this past year) feed him scraps and have called the SPCA several times, but they've never come to rescue him or give any advice. Does anyone have any suggestions about how we can make sure he will be ok? I feel so bad because he's so skinny, but he's the sweetest thing. We can't adopt him ourselves as our landlord does not allow pets. We intend to keep trying the SPCA, but if they haven't helped this far, who knows if they will in the future? Any (mature and sincere) advice will be greatly appreciated!

Does the pet store employees offer you a care sheet or suggest you buy a book on proper care of the animal?? If they don't, wouldn't it be common sense to buy a book? I'm not trying to be mean or offend anyone, but I have noticed a lot of people buy animals and have no clue on how to care for them. I love animals and I am just asking this in their best interest.

where to buy? and any specific brand of halter or harness, what is the diffrence?

and i think i should get frontline or advantage too.

which one is better and if u use either, tell why its better

and do i HAVE to go to the vet to get frontline or advant?

or can i get it in the store like petco or petsmart?

This bunny had possibly been attacked at some point in the night (it has scratches on it's ears) and seems stressed. We live in AZ and it was extremely hot today, but even with frozen bottles it seems lethargic and doesn't really have an interest in it's bunny food. It did however eat some baby spinach earlier this morning and part of a very small carrot. It grunts at me when I touch/pet/hold it and I'm not sure if it's purring or irritated-it doesn't try and hop away. We're just wondering if we can pay it attention or if it might be in shock or if it just needs some quiet time alone (which it had for about 4 hours this afternoon with the exception of our outdoor kitty who pretty much could care less about it). Anyone have any suggestions/ideas/advice?

I have a kenyi cichlid and an electric yellow lab cichlid. The kenyi is so mean to the yellow lab. I don't have any other tanks the kenyi could move into to. I asked all my friends with tanks if they wanted the kenyi, but they all said it wouldn't be a good fit. I don't know what to do with the kenyi, the pet store won't take him and I have no1 to give him to. Is the only option left is to...well you know what Im goin to say, get rid of him for good. I don't want to do this, but I might have to. I like my yellow lab the most, and his tail fin isn't doing so good with the kenyi after him. How do I solve the problem?

I have seen numerous poor suggestions from people online claiming to be vet techs. They seem quite unqualified. Today at the Vets I witnessed some Vet techs trying to come up with the clinical term for a "spay". They were saying "Oh..it's like ovarian...uh...some big long name, what was it?...Ovararin hysta sumthin'"...I said hysterectomy? One of the girls said.."Oh yeah that's it." It made me quite uncomfotable thinking that there are all these vet techs out there that don't know much about jack. How do they get certified? I mean some have even made prescription dosing errors. This would be unnacceptable in any human medical venue.

All my blue pitbull does is run around and sniff everything everday, allday....shes hardley ever in her crate except to sleep at nite. I can't understand why she runs around sniffs everything, all day/everyday. She never listens when you tell her to stop, I've tried everything and it's impossible she won't quit. She acts like shes missing out on something, but she can't be it's as if she lost her favorite ball or something!!! (She hasn't!!)

btw it has short fur.

-if i take her on a walk and she goes on grass and everything

- anything that can make my doggy get fleas

btw... i brush fur with a brush, a human brush lol i cant find HER brush, it has bristles taht are much wider spaced apart so doesnt brush the fur really nicely like a doggy brush is suppsoed to.

i think i need to get frontline but wat are somethings i can check for fleas right now at the moment?

like... if i pet her, if she has fleas, will the flea jump ?

I heard something in the woods last nite outback of my house screaching all nite...heard it this a.m. and when it was dusk took my dog for a walk and my cat usually comes with us, but he was waiting for us to come up the hill i could hear the screaching agin...and i didnt have my glasses on, but could something dark brown and not much bigger than my cat, screaching and trying to get at the cat. But when it saw me coming up the street it ran off. Just wondering what they sounds like??

It's as if my dog has an underground army of these things running through her! My other two have some of course-but my female is just covered! I comb her out twice a day and keep the carpets and the yard up...does any one have any suggestions? There not jumping on us at all- just her!

I have a 1 1/2 year old Great Dane and a 1 year old Lab mix who is probably mixed with a terrier or smaller breed of dog. My question is, what would be the best dog food to benefit the both of them that I can buy and is also cost effective( well as cost effective as you can get with a Dane...LOL)

I cannot fathom why some people like something as cruel and vicious as either dogfighting or cockfighting. To me, it seems cruel and heartless. Why is it that people would take these creatures and make them fight, sometimes to the death? I'd love to see some of these nutjobs get in a boxing ring and fight each other.
They shouldn't use animals to satisfy their need for violence.

Those who participate in dogfighting and cockfighting, as well as those who watch it and support it, are truly callous, coldhearted human beings.

Does anyone else here hate animal fighting?
