I am not sure of the name of the part, but the device that clicks when lower the lid of my washer no longer functions (thank goodness that's the problem instead of something more expensive). I've looked into a replacement part (around $30), but I can't figure out how to remove the top from my washer. Any ideas?

I have a febreeze addiction, and recently came up with my own version. Ultra concentrated fabric softener in a spray bottle mixed with water. It works and smells wonderful, but I was just wondering if anyone else has any other ideas!!!

I bought this Very large fuzzy blanket and I have washed it twice now and it just has this irritating smell (it's NOT a dirty, or soiled smell). I looked at the label to make sure I was washing it correctly, but it's still has a strange smell. Is there any kind of deodorizer or cleaning soap or solution for washing 100% acrylic fabric??Please help

I have a wooden chopping board, and usually just wipe it with hot water, but every few days wash it in the sink with detergent. It seems to be getting an odd smell, like a fridge that needs cleaning. Is there something I should be doing, like putting oil on it or something?

How can you remove a green sharpie mark out of a 94% cotton and 6% spandex tee shirt?

I have tried bleaching the stain, letting it sit for a few minutes, then rinsing it off. (It turned the mark to a light blue.)

I have also tried regular detergent.

And rubbing it with a bar of soap.

Any other suggestions? Its needed for an event later today. Thanks :)
