Cleaning & Laundry - April 2007

We have just bought a house for a great price and the previous owners were disgusting pigs. We are ripping up the carpets and now we need a good deodorizing/sanitizing product b/c the previous owners let their cats do there business everywhere. If you know of a good and cheap product please tell me about it!!!!

How is it possible that most people takes fast showers and still come out clean...? What do they do in there when they take a shower? Do they just wash their hair and that's it? I'm asking this because it usually takes me 20 - 45 to finish taking a shower.

My house is NEARLY a candidate for one of those Clease House or Clean Sweep programs. I have off this week, and I am determined to declutter and clean it top to bottom. It's a big house & I'm working alone.

After it's clean, I'm hiring another cleaning service to maintain it. Does anyone have a good strategy for me?

A friends birthday last night, got smashed with cake in the face and of course cake fell on the carpet. How do you get cake out of carpet. This is at a restaurant so the carpet is flat and smooth, not like house carpet.
