We are thinking of purchasing a humidifier, and would appreciate opinions on which type is better overall. Warm mist, or cool mist. Thanks for any feedback.....

My tub and shower enclosure is about 20 years old and the use of abrasive cleaners have removed the clean shiny surface appearance of the white enclosure. Is there a easy to use product that a handy man could use that will restore the new like appearance of the enclosure.

We have just movd into a new home with 25 squares of floating timber floors. They always seem to need cleaning and take ages to do. I have only had tiles and carpet before so would appreciate any advice for cleaning the timber floors.

I bought a Neptune in July 2006. Have had 6 service calls from 1st wash because it "dances" across the room! No one seems to have an answer? Now I don't receive return calls from the repairman? They said without the pedestal it would be better. I only bought it because of the pedestal. It even vibrates spinning empty. But with laundry it hits the dryer or jumps into the wall. I have had to stand in front of the washer for every load since last July for fear that it will pull the hose out of the drain when it jumps. Last time "two" repairmen arrived to replace the "drum". One said it didn't need replacement? He tightened the base. They left, I watched a load and it didn't jump across the room. He called and said it does vibrate because of the "power". I aksed him to come to see it with laundry in the machine. It was snowing and he assured me it is okay. The next load jumped. I called him back immediately and numerous times. It has been a week. Any ideas?

I want to leave it gleaming as it's usually quite dull looking, even after I've just cleaned it.

We just moved into our new home (new construction) 6 months ago. My husband bought a rubbermaid "sinksaver" mat to put in the bottom of the sink to protect it from scratches, etc. I don't necessarily think that that is the source of the problem, but the sink has little brown spots all over it. They look like coffee or tea stains and they aren't the kind of stains that go away when you clean the sink and then come back when it dries. They are always there. Also, we have hard water. Any insight or suggestions?

Seems like it makes more sense to get the highest-rated (in price range) one of each, regardless of brand. What's the thoughts?

Do I put it under a shower first and see if the colour drains? Because my shirt's label doesn't say whether it has 'colourfast'. Mine's Diesel. Does anyone know whether the colour of Diesel T-shirts run? I don't want my next laundry to come out in a brilliant shade of pink. :) Thanks!

I need to wash some clothes tonight but I ran out of laundry soap. I know dish soap probably wont work because it would sud up everywhere. Any other household cleaner/things i can use just for this one time that wouldn't ruin the clothes/machine?

It has been over a week since I burnt some pasta in the microwave and the smell is still permeating the kitchen and the food I'm trying to cook. I think I may have to buy a new microwave... unless there is a way to get the smell out. Have tried boiling water and lemon juice inside it but to no avail... HELP please!

I am looking to buy a new washer and dryer set for an apartment
I am looking at a front loading energy star washer and a standard top loading washer. Is it worth the 100 dollars for the energy star washer or is it going to take 10 years to save me that money back in power and water.

Any advice?
