We have hard water. I'm trying to see if anyone knows a home cleaning solution to get my glasses streak free.

You can put some baking soda in the dishwasher with your crystal/glass. The idea of the baking soda is to soften the water to allow the detergent to do its job.

Use the big side of the dishwasher for the soap and the small side for the baking soda.

Washing in vinegar and water mix works as well. Start with a 50/50 solution and increase vinegar if you need to. If you add some baking soda to that mix (it may bubble from the vinegar) it will soften that water as well.

Vinegar and water are good for crystals and glass. But you still have to wipe them dry.Another method is to use 1 part Alcohol to 2 parts water.

If you want a home remedy you can soak them in water and vinegar. It's best to use white vinegar rather than cider vinegar. 1 cup of vinegar to a gallon of water.

white vinegar. soak them in it if you must, then wash as normal hand drying the glass will also help keep the water marks off it.
