What get's rid of cigarette smoke odor?

I am smoking in my apartment, and I am not suppossed to. My landlord is coming here today, how can I cover this odor? She's a non-smoker.

why do you get shocked from carpeting?

I have had new carpeting before and never had this problem. We just moved into a new apartment and you can not touch anything/anyone without getting shocked first. will this ever stop or how can I stop it?

Getting smell out of concrete flooring in basement?

To my horror, a few months ago after a heavy rainstorm, I entered my basement to find that my slop sink was overflowing onto the concrete floor with sewage. We tried out best to control the situation and clean up the area while the city worked on removing the storm debris that was causing this. Now two months later our basement smells disgusting. I gave up on the city’s original promise to bring in a crew after about a day. I’ve purposely flooded the area of our basement where the overflow was with a bleach/water mixture, then shopvac-ed it up about 6 times. But funkiness still lingers. It doesn’t smell like sewage now, it just smells weird and bad. Short of hanging up 1000 air fresheners like something out of the movie Seven, I’m at my wits end. Does any one have a suggestion on how to deep clean concrete flooring?

Does anyone know how to get rid of the smell of FUNGUS?

My sister tried to hide a taco bell pop beverage in her bedroom. There are drawers underneath her bed and she hid it there but then FORGOT to take it out. It kind of molded and although I helped her clean it out, it kinda stained the wood. The worst part is that it STINKS when you open the drawer. (Imagine that.....^^) Does anyone know what will work to remove the stained mold/stench? Thanks a lot! :)

How do you get the smell out of things without ruining them?

I just got my ipod case but it smells like a combination of new car smell and permanent marker. I don't want it to make my ipod to smell like that, how can i get the smell out? Thanks for the help.
