My 3 year old has basically ruined half of her wardrobe, and the washing machines at my apartment complex suck. I have tried oxi-clean, color safe bleach, dual action type stain removers, and even the trusted spray & wash stain stick. I have tried soaking, rubbing, pretreating, and even hand washing, and these clothes are still not coming out clean. I just spent a good amount of $ on my daughters spring/summer wardrobe, so pitching the clothes is not an option. Some of these outfits have been in the dryer already, and some have not.

Any advice would be appreciated!!!

I have this white shirt that I love and of course it was exspensive. Well someone in my house threw soaked towel in the laundry on top of it. Not know that this happened basically all of my white grew little green dots of mold. I am not so much worried about the other stuff because no one will see the under garments but this one shirt I am worried about. I have already washed it twice with bleach, stain stick, spray and wash, oxy clean etc, but nothing has work. Now I have not put it through the dryer yet so I know I still have a chance. Any and all help would be appreciate. This is my favorite shirt and would rather not replace it if I don't have too. Thanks....

I have tried twice to use my shapooer on the Kirby vacuum and was not successful I KNOW it works they demonstrated it with the same cleaner. I have called the main kirby # and received no help, they gave me the number of the people I purchased it from and I never recieved a return call from them. Is there someone out there who can help me with assembly (I feel I am doing this correctly) or walk me through the process? Thanks in advance!!

we recently had to move due to the home we were renting was sold.it was very unexpected and very quick.the same month we had to move my car broke down and was expensive to repair.then 2 days before we were moving my washing machine broke and is not repairable.so in 30 days time i had to come up with 1st , 2nd , and last months worth of rent for our new home , pay hundreds of dollars to fix my car , which left me with no $$$ for a new or used washer.I am a full time mother of three boys as well as a full time cna who cares for the elderly 40+ hours a week .please can some one help me finding a washer?

I see the Scotchguard website says not to use the product on suede but this synthetic suede is made of cotton and polyester. Just wondering if the Scotchguard will ruin the texture? It should be fine for cotton and polyester according to the website.

I already vacuum it everyday and I still end up with a lot of dust bunnies every! Is there a product I can wash it with so it does not do this? The carpet is from Ikea (if that makes a difference?) and it is done in a bunch of bunches at a time but you can't tell. Sort of like a flokati, but made out of strings of wool. Here is a picture:: http://www.ikea.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?topcategoryId=10112&catalogId=10101&storeId=12&productId=13721&langId=-1&chosenPartNumber=50031221

I just moved to a very Humid area. The bathroom smelled muggy, and got worse. It was mold! I bleached everything back to white, It was black from mold, I striped all the cauking from the shower and replaced it.
I think I killed all that was growing. I don't want the mold to come back, any good tricks?

The humidity is only going to get worse in the next few months.

I was wandering about mixing white vinegar with baking soda and use that as a fabric softener..I was wondering well that hurt your clothes or not?? Or has anybody tried putting fabric softenter on a rag let dry and use that as a fabric sheet..I was wandering about all this because I saw a couple of recipes about it and I was wandering if any of it works good or not..

i had 2 male cats and im not sure which one
but they marked their territory on the mattress while there were blankets on it.
this will be my 2nd time washing the blankets cause they started to smell like cats urine again.
but im thinking it's the mattress that keeps the smell coming back.
how can i clean this?
the only thing i have done is used some carpet cleaner stuff and some disinfectant or a little dish soap and water.
do you think the mattress needs to be thrown out now?

BTW
i don't own the cats anymore and there hasnt been any cats in the house for over a month now, this happened before i gave them away.
any suggestions at all?
