My 3 year old has basically ruined half of her wardrobe, and the washing machines at my apartment complex suck. I have tried oxi-clean, color safe bleach, dual action type stain removers, and even the trusted spray & wash stain stick. I have tried soaking, rubbing, pretreating, and even hand washing, and these clothes are still not coming out clean. I just spent a good amount of $ on my daughters spring/summer wardrobe, so pitching the clothes is not an option. Some of these outfits have been in the dryer already, and some have not.

Any advice would be appreciated!!!

most of the stains are tomato based (ketchup/pasta sauce/etc). Some are car grease (not sure how that happened lol), and some are kool-aid stains.

I know that aerosols aren't very popular any more, but truly the only thing that ever worked for me with my son (he was adhd and always into something)was spray and was aerosol, not the stick, nothing else, only the aerosol. The other spray isn't worth carrying home, and I haven't found anything else that works either. I would sometimes soak the clothes in clorox color safe bleach and then use the spray and wash, but the spray and wash usually worked on grass stains and oils and about anything a boy can get into. I still find it at Wal-Mart. Try it and see if it works for you. I have tried everything else. The only other thing that even came close was the m-30 hand cleaner that I pick up at the Dollar General Store. It takes out a lot of stuff. You might find some satisfaction with it also. I use it for grease and other things that won't come out with soaking and dishwashing liquid. That also works on a lot of things including any oils or greasy things.

I am a huge fan of Sun Oxywash. I've used it to get permanent marker and grease out of my husband's clothes, red wine out of mine, and burgundy latex paint out of beige carpet, just to name a few stains. I put a scoop in every wash. On the abovementioned stains, I wet the area with a spray bottle, sprinkle on some of the oxywash, rub it in, maybe spray a little more, then let it sit until I'm ready to do another load of laundry. With really bad stains, I may have to repeat the pretreating once or twice, but I haven't found anything it can't get out.

By the way, it's basically the generic, cheap version of oxyclean.

Home Depot sells some stuff in Janitorial called Industrial Purple degreaser that takes out everything that can be taken out with a little scrubbing, but the vapors are harsh, and it is rough on your hands, so wear gloves, and open a window. It's a super cleaner though. I have saved many of my kids clothing items using it, it cleans their coats like new, cuts a mean stove or oven stain to manageable size, has cleaned many a nasty black pot that would otherwise be garbage, and honestly is a mean engine degreaser. I'm not making this up.

What did she do?

Quick and Bright is a miracle worker. Get it at Target and follow all the instructions.

At this point, consider dye or paint. Be super creative and color over the stains. Re-dye the entire garmet. Won't work for everything, but you could save most things.
There are also embellishments that can cover small stains. Cute patches, iron ons, and things from the craft or fabric store. Maybe a Bedazzler can save a pair of pants, hey, you won't lose her in a crowd!

Google the type of stain. There are amazing things in your home that can remove specific stains.

Good luck

Shout stain gel is what I use before washing . Apply before washing and let sit for at least 15 minutes. Always wash her clothes in cold water. If you wash in warm will set the stains.

I agree that m30 hand cleaner is great at removing stains, especially grease. I also swear by Spot Shot. Great on clothes & carpets.
