I see them advertised and wonder how good they are. Do you have one, if so, what type is it, do you find it any good, was it expensive and where did you get it. TA.

My washing machine takes in hot water and cold water, whereas my dishwasher takes in cold water and heats it up to the required temperature. Since I have a temperamental hot water supply this sometimes means my clothes are washed in cold water.

Does such a thing exist as a washing machine that takes in cold water and heats it up itself to the required temperature?

Please don't just say 'get your hot water fixed'. I really want to know about washing machines... makes and models would be fab!

They are not damp, soggy or water logged. Just odorous from the mildew. Also, is it dangerous to work in this environment where these mildewed items are found? How could I cautiously work there cleaning up things?

I found four $5 bills in my jeans when I took them out the dryer. They got all wrinkled from the washing machine and they are rolled up like a scroll.

It irritates me. IT'S THE MOST IRRITATING THING I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS … even more irritating than doing the laundry. I try to flatten them, and they roll back. I need to get these $5 bills flat ... flat like a sheet of plastic. It's my goal now, and I must accomplish it. I have decided I should try and iron them, but is it safe to do that without burning Lincoln’s face off?

My absolute favorite white tee shirt has this kind of line of grayish stain on the bottom half of it, from where i was cleaning a countertop and the dirty water got swept onto my tee. I tried using Shout and washing in warm water but it only made the stain 5% less apparent. There is color on the upper half of my tee, should i just put bleach on the stain?

I am a single woman, and obviously I work during the week, my job is Mon-Fri only. When I come home I am tired, and just want to relax, which is what I usually do. That leaves me the weekend to do my chores. I usually spend part of my Saturday running errands, and Sunday morning doing laundry and cleaning my apartment. I was just wondering, with summer coming up, it would be so nice to be able to relax on the weekends, take day trips, be outside, etc. and not be tied to my place, having to clean and do laundry, etc. I was thinking maybe I should change my habits to doing just one thing every night during the week instead, like laundry one day, or cleaning the bathroom one day, vaccuuming one day, etc. How can I motivate myself to do something after I am so tired from work?
