My absolute favorite white tee shirt has this kind of line of grayish stain on the bottom half of it, from where i was cleaning a countertop and the dirty water got swept onto my tee. I tried using Shout and washing in warm water but it only made the stain 5% less apparent. There is color on the upper half of my tee, should i just put bleach on the stain?

Try some hydrogen peroxide on the stain.

soak your T-Shirt in cold water , then with the good old fashioned bar soap used for washing clothes give a good rub. Leave the T-Shirt free from water this lets the soap soak into the stain say about 1/2 hr or so . Then pop back to cold water give another rub with the soap , wash on a 40ºc then hang outside to let the sun do the rest of the work, which is bleach out the stain the natural way . Your T-Shirt will be whiter than white after this

Try the new bleach pens, as long as teh T-shirt is really white, not off-white. You may have to do it 2x.
