on my Zanussi Washer Dryer, i can do a handwash programme at 30c , or 40c, with variable spin speed, which could be handy for your blanket.
If you don't have a handwash programme, go for a woolen cycle etc

I do mine in cold water with cold water detergent and I have a place to hang mine outside to dry,, then tumble lightly but with no heat of very low heat

yes ,if it is too big for the machine do it the old fashioned way in the bath follow mu instructions .rub a dub dub
