You need to change your sheets and wash your clothes because sweat and dirt accumulate, and we sweat more at night, this causing more of the nasty little dust mites as they feed on our dead skin cells and sweat, and can even cause lice, you need to wash your sheets and laundry every two weeks. Hope that helps.

I change mine every week- they never look dirty, but you spend so much time in them that there is dead skin cells and stuff all over them. If it costs money to do laundry at your school, get more than one set of sheets so you can change them frequently and then wash the old ones whenever.
My first year of college, my roommate washed her sheets once- between semesters and that was it- it was really gross.

My my, have you got a few things to learn about cleanliness being next to godliness. You change things because they get dirty because we live in a dirty world. As for your sheets, young lady, what, do you think that you're perfectly all the time clean, well, no way. Dirty immediately collects and clings to you as soon as you step out of the shower if you shower. Its like this sheet I keep in Skippy's dog house. I change the sheet everyday because even though I give Skippy showers at regular intervals, those fleas keep coming back no matter what and how those fleas do that is magic. So, come on, change yer sheets and show the world that you aren't a biker.

I change mine once a week or every other week at most. My husband sweats a lot in his sleep and he also has dry skin that can be scaley. I do wash my pillowcase in between though. If I do not, my face tends to break out more. Just hair styling products on a pillowcase can cause a break out. That is what works for me - but it depends a lot on what you do while in bed. If you eat - spend a lot of "awake time" doing other things on there - it make a difference. Guess it also depends on your gross out tolerence. LOL! I like to shower just before bed - but some people would prefer to shower when they wake-up. Guess it is pretty much a personal choice - but for me, if I can climb in bed after I have washed my sheets and can tell that they are newly washed sheets - it has been too longv between washings.

I change mine once a week to once every two weeks...the reason being is that the human body sloughs off dead outer skin constantly so you're sleeping in that. Additionally, dust mites, which are not visible to the human eye, feed on the dead skin and thrive in the warm, damp conditions produced in a bed when a person is sleeping in it, so you're sleeping with THEM (and their excrement) too.

Not changing sheets regularly can also encourage infestations of bed bugs which feed on human blood in the same way mosquitoes do, but are much harder to get rid of. If bed bugs set in, you have to throw out your mattress and get a new one and they've been known to spread quickly throughout entire buildings once they start breeding.

That's gross people not changing their sheets often I did it every week and rotated sheets so they lasted longer since I had two sets. You should wash your sheets every week since they can get stinky from body odors and other things since being a former college RA a lot of the girls I lived with used their dorm rooms as a place for them to have sex with their boyfriends.

Ewww.... that's gross. Change them 1 a week at least. All the oils, dead skin cells, and dirt from your body goes on those sheets. Would you wear the same clothes for 2 months? That's essentially what you are doing!

It's so bad because of all of the skin, hair, slobber...that you are leaving behind each night. Not to mention dust mites. Yuk.

I change mine every Sunday night - only because it's feels realliy good to know that after a hot shower or bath that I get to crawl in to a fresh bed and wake up to start my week.

You should wash them about 1 a month in the winter and every two weeks in the summer because you sweat more. Unless you are trying to start a scratch and sniff collection on your sheets then change them and wash them. Sweat,oil,make-up, foot odor(if you have that), possible sexual fluids, dead skin, hair, drool, and if your sick where do you spend the whole time--in bed!! Actually you should burn your roommates. have fun with the laundry.

I change them once a week. Ever hear the expression "don't let the bedbugs bite" That's because there are these little mites that get in your bed no matter what, and i think that's one way people get lice, too--by not changing their sheets. Oh--and you have to wash them as well. lol.
