Better than an iron, just soak them again, lay them flat on a towel, put another dry towel on top, and let them dry. But yes, an iron will work...that's what they use in casinos. ;>)

To ellagarard:
Wrong! There is no wood or paper used in United States printed money. It’s a custom blend of 25% cotton and 75% linen. It’s closer to cloth than paper. This blend, which can not legally be used by anyone outside the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, is much more durable than ordinary paper.
You could try to Iron the money. But put it on low heat. Do you really want to drag out an Iron for that? Why not get it wet (not soaked) and then put it under something flat and heavy. Or just take it to the bank and exchange it.

Since Ive never actually done this myself, I am only taking a guess, but you should be able to iron them if...and I mean IF you put the iron on a low setting that is heat only(no steam), and you place a towel over the bill. Iron it that way and it should flatten it out enough that it won't bug you. Test a corner of the bill first and see how it does, then if all goes well, proceed to the rest of the bill....
Ken K is pretty smart though, just get them wet and lay them flat to dry....then you don't have to iron them!

I've had money washed and dryed so I think I may have your solution. Wash the money again but fold it and put in the back pocket of your dirty jeans. After they are washed, put them in the dryer with the rest of your clothes. They should come out straighter except for the bend when you folded them into your back pocket.

If you're gonna iron them, put the iron on a relatively low heat setting, and put a peice of cloth (tea towel or something) on top of the money when ironing.

Yes you can iron money. Put the iron at a low setting and don't leave it on one spot on the bill too long. I too iron money-- I thought I was the only one. Watch the show Monk....you get lots of tips ;P

Yes, you can iron money. People have been doing this for years.
I mist bills with a spray bottle and use a low heat setting.( I have never burnt a bill.)

Maybe you could put a towel over the bill then iron it. A thinner dish towel or something, just in case.

wet it again under the sink and let it dry on you counter, or use a hair straightener on low. Both work awesome!!! dont use a regular iron though because they have those holes and get way to hot.

I would not want to see if it worked or not risking burning my money! Wet them down again and lay them flat and smooth them and walk away go toward the light and leave them alone they will straighten out!
