curious question.

Dirt in the home is soil tracked in, dust blown in, dead skin cells shed by you and other animals. All of which can become breeding grounds for bacteria.

Dirt outside is different than soil. Soil is a growing medium and we accept it contains microorganisms (bad and good) which allow plants to grow. Dirt is misplaced soil, no longer used for growing plants (and probably can't grow plants now either). It is comprised of mineral matter, organic matter and perhaps still living microorganisms or dead ones. It is not really a concern until it contaminates us or our surroundings; gets on our clothes, hands, hair, in the air we breathe. All of which...in our fastidious society...is undesirable.

its not really. I means bugs lay eggs and **** in it soo that makes it ew. But if its like un touched area then its not dirty until you get it on you. Then you are dirty. Its not because you have dirt on you. You can still be dirty if you have like egg on you right?
