Is it better to have an 8A or 10A motor on a vacuum cleaner?

A 10 amp motor is larger and if the vaccum cleaner is designed properly will give you more power tann an 8 amp. Not nessearily mor suction but more power to maintain the suction.

Get one with a 12 amp motor...they last longer and work better!

The amps have nothing at all to do with the motor. Amps is what we pull from the wall socket.

The 10A motor will be more powerful and will give you more suction, all other things being same.
