Who is the Sock Fairy I buy , put on, take off, in laundry,then back in my drawer they're orphans.?

Answers are not as simple as you'd think . and obvious isn't obvious

The sock fairy visits my house often. Thought my dog was swallowing them whole. Or that they were disolving in the wash. I don't get it. Maybe we should get together and make some pairs.

Ahh..you only think it is a sock fairy...in actuality washers and dryers are not the inanimate objects and simple household appliances that we think they are. I have come to the conclusion that they live on socks! Yes..they devour them daily. You can search and search and search..under beds, dressers, behind the washer and dryer..and NEVER EVER find that one matching sock. Because it no longer exists. Once they have had a taste of the one sock they hunger for a different sock. I know this to be true..it is the only logical answer.

Before the socks venture into the washer they need to become siamese to prevent becoming orphans. We had difefrent colour diaper pins for each person when the kids were still at home. Now we don't wear socks :0)

I've come to one simple deuction though: The sock fairy has only one foot, hence he/she/it only steals one sock! Gonna try and get a reading on the number of hands - tonight I'm gonna was a pair of gloves! Wish me luck!

Good Q, I used to find them inside the trouser leg´s , but now I´m thinking different as the other day when I went to visit my daughter , She turned to me and said , What´s that in the dog´s mouth?, we both looked at each other & said , So that´s where they go, the dog was eating a sock. So if you have a dog best ask HIM OR HER , where do you hide them, PS so I´m not the only one who think´s it´s the dog
