I'm a hospital based nurse and we would give such patients build up or fortisip.
Don't be tempted to drink lucozade as this only contains glucose so it's really only a temporary fix like a bar of chocolate.
Plenty of fluids, water mainly so as not to get dehydrated, or try diorlyrite which you can buy from chemists.
However, doing the kind of job you do PLEASE make sure you rest and get better before you rejoin your tour otherwise you'll find yourself back where you started, laid up in bed ill again!!
Also, if you're not better by 2 weeks after it started go see your GP or at least a pharmacist.

A drink called 'build up'.. can be purchased in chemists and some supermarkets, strawberry, chocolate and banana and vanilla flavours.. they also do soups.. mix the powder with milk and voila you have a nutitional drink.. full of essential vitamins and you'll be back on your toes before you know it.. Do not dance whilst still being poorly you will make yourself very ill indeed in the long term.

sounds like the flu. if you can try putting V8 into your body to replenish some of the stuff you have lost. i know i drink one of those when i am hung over and i feel pretty good afterwards. you should also wrap up really warm and sweat whatever is left of your virus out. i hope you feel better soon.

Fluid loss often diminshes your electrolyte balance. Some people find relief by consuming Gatorade or similar sports drinks. (They are designed for athletes to help recover from sweat loss.) If you can tolerate it, Ensure can help too. But some people can't take milk like products when nauseous.
