So I just got an suv. It's pre-owned, but in very good condition. Anyways I'm a horse-back rider so when I put my stuff in the back (sadlle, etc.) it will make the whole car smell after a while. There's no way to get rid of the smell of my saddle, so how can I keep my car smelling fresh for a long time?

Hi, I'm looking for a new vacuum because my old one goes through belts like every month and it really does loose suctions after about 20 sweeps. What's your favorite vaccum?

I am a HUGE environmentalist, and am a big recycler. If I throw them in the garbage, will they decompose? Or what should I do with them?

What cleaners do you use? Do you use paper towels, a sponge for the seat & lid ?? Regular toilet brush for the toilet bowl or those "throw-away brushes" ???
How do you make the whole toilet sparkly & sanitary???

I always put my summer clothes in organizers til winter is over. Everything was dry when they went in. To my horror, I found the clothes in one organizer full of mold and mildew. ALL of the clothes had it on them.
I've tried washing them and drying in the sun. I was able to salvage 2 outfits. The rest still have it on them. They are new clothes. I hate to throw them out.
I also need to know how to get the smell out of the organizer they were in. I've never had this problem before. HELP!!!

Help! We have a white prom dress with beading and my daughter used a self tanner before wearing it and now it is stained (inside and out) with brown self tanner! The dry cleaner will not take it because of the beading. This dress has only been worn once and is too expensive to get rid of. Help!

I get a big bucket of water.......then I add a cap full of Pine-sol, a cap full of Bleac, a splash of Comet and swirl it around in the big bucket of water. It cleans....SO GOOD! The smells isnt bad at all...I think it's because I add lots and lots of water. The water is just right, not too soapy...not too bare. The only cleaner I don't mix is Amonia..because it's strong itself! Does anyone else do this? I confessed....lol So come on and confess!

Does anyone know of a good website that offers natural cleaning solutions? Such as uses for ammonia, baking soda, etc. Thanks!

OK. I have to admit that I hate to clean, but considering it has to be done, what is the best and most efficient way to clean a one bedroom apartment? I don't have the funds to hire someone, so any advice/list to keep me organized and on track would be appreciated

Hi everyone and thanks for caring and making some time to read this.

Well, my problem is that on the 1st of April we (my husband, 4 year old, 7 month old and I) came to move here to our new place and but before we moved in I ask the LandLady if there was any infestations of any kind and she of course said no.

We moved in and the first day was cool. The second day I noticed a small nasty looking roach creeping in my 7 month olds room. I was soooo pissed. (You don't want that near your kids)

Todays the 10th and so far I was say that my husband and I have step on about over 200 roaches, no lie..
I called the landlady about the problem but she really doesn't seem to care.

What could I use to eliminate them naturally without harsh chemicals, cause remember, I do have a 4 year old and a 7 month old.

Once again, thankyou!

I use baking soda a lot to help with household chores because it's effective, sans fragrance, eats odors, it's non-toxic, and effective. However I was wondering if it has antiseptic properties since I hear it is actually a type of acid.
