It's really weird, whenever I take my clothes out of the dryer, it smells like something was burnt.

i have a bike jersey that i want to wash before my race. how do i wash it so it wont shrink?

it says 100% polyester, machine wash cold, tumble dry low.

is it ok to throw it in with the rest of the laundry and let it air dry?

(this is the first time its being washed, i just bought it recently. no smart *** comments please)

For some reason, all my laundry shrinks. I was all my cottons in particular at 40 degrees C (that's the lowest temp I have on my washing machine). I just checked some washed t-shirts against some new ones and I've lost 1 inch in length from the shirt. I also tumble dry some of my clothes on medium heat.

Can you let me know what I can do to preserve my cottons? It's frustrating!

I've got this gunk on my iron's soleplate, and it sometimes sticks on to clothes. I noticed it is common to happen with every iron.

I have tried so many things and nothing seems to get mold/mildew black stains out. Also it doesn't take long for pinkinsh mildew stuff to appear on the grout. Nothing seems to get either one of these out very good. Any suggestions?

I'm looking for ways to greatly reduce the hassle of doing the dishes, and I thought if everybody in my family had only one set of dishes each (one cup, plate, bowl, knife, fork, spoon etc.) that they just rinsed and used again, that it would be a lot easier. I'm just wondering if this would be adequate washing for hygienic purposes (i.e. avoiding food poisoning etc.)?

PS. How about water efficiency?

Thanks.
