I had a white dress which I have dyed black. The dress was 100% cotton on the label, which was ok according to the dye pack. Unfortunately it seems the stitching on the dress is not cotton, so now I have a black dress with white stitching. It looks really stupid, any ideas how I can return it to white or is it too late?

Would bleach make it white again or just mess it up even further?

i bought a dark green comforter and after washing it once, it has what look like bleach marks or discoloring on it, even though I do not use detergent with bleach. similar effect often happens with towels... I'm nervous about ever buying a colored comforter again!

I think the cause is my front load washing machine has left soap residue in them. I've tried washing them reapeatedly with/without detergent, but there still is a musty smell.. When they come out of the drier they smell great but as soon as you get them wet the smell returns. They are high quality towels and I have brand new Maytag front load washer and drier.

As we are becoming more aware of global warming I think it would really make a difference if we went back to the old days when most people would hang their clothes outside to dry our clothes instead of using the dryer. (given the fact that you have a place to do it) I know some people still do it, but very few. I really want to do my part by creating a permanent rack. The problem is I really don't know how to build one or if they are available somewhere for sale. Any ideas, information, or suggestions will be appreciated.

I know this question has been asked a hundred times but I have a problem with my floor tiles. They have a small indented seashell pattern that loves to accumulate dirt. Other than getting down on my hands and knees with a scrub brush I cannot get the stupid seashells clean, needless to say it just makes the rest of the floor look grimy. I cant scrub it like that once or twice a week my knees cant take it. What can I get to dissolve the dirt?

I just moved into a new house and have found that there is an odd white buildup at the opening of the faucet in the bathroom sink. It's really disgusting and I wonder if it affects the water coming through it in a bad way. What is the best way to get rid of it?
And does anyone know the best way to clean/prevent mildew on a shower curtain?

I bought a pair of dress pants, and they are a bit too big, so I am curious if they will shrink when I wash and dry them. They are 63% Polyester, 34% Rayon, and 3% Spandex.

The FDA is proposing allowing Big Candy Makers to Market what is now FAKE CHOCOLATE as the Real Thing. Their Big Lobby Groups want to allow the use of cheap vegetable fat and other cheap ingredents to replace Cocoa Butter and Milk in Chocolate and label it is 100%Real Chocolate.

The only way to fix this is to Speak up!! I URGE you to visit DON'T MESS WITH MY CHOCOLATE web site and use their link to the FDA and voice your DECENT!!

Big Candy is trying to pull the wool over our eyes and increase their profits with cheap imatation chocolate to be maketed the same as real chocolate. Let's not let them get away with it. Use your voice and please speak up

Hypothetically, how would I get rid of a large amount of blood on the walls, floor and ceiling ?
The floor is carpeted, and the walls and ceiling are papered and painted an off-white colour.
For the sake of argument, imagine I have to completely remove every tiny trace as I'm a very tidy person.

Like if I wanted one to come every day and sweep, vacum, mop, do a load of laundry, load the dishwasher, make the beds, and wipe everything down, how much would that run per week? I know it can vary but I just need a general idea. THanks!
