My husband is coming home from Iraq (YAY) in less than 30 days..Is it too soon to strat cleaning the house?

My goodness what is the state of your home? Or is it that you work? If you work just make a goal to tackle parts of the house until it is done.
How exciting! If all else fails call your mother or grandmother to come help you get motivated.

you are probably nervous happy giddy and excited.Cleaning the whole house up would be great emotional therapy for you.It is a humble but meaningful task and allows you to think and plan while working away..and the time goes faster than you think.You dont have to go crazy and clean like a maniac..just an hour or two a day...do things like behind the fridge and stove one day..dust and vacum blinds one day...wash the mirrors and windows one day....do all the laundry and final vacuming on the second to last day. The last day is for you.Get your hair done..dress up..be well rested..you might not find exactly the same man coming home as the one that left..dont be hard on him if he is acting a little different than you are used to...listen to him..he will have a lot to talk about. You are lucky that he is coming home.Enjoy...

Congrats!! And no, its not too early. Start with the heavy cleaning, such as baseboards, windows, ceiling fans, closets, cabinets, etc. It will keep you busy and you won't be so rushed the week before he gets home.

That's Great! My dad went to Iraq this year and is was so good to have him home again.
If it were me I wouldn't start yet, you still have a month but your excited probably and want to keep busy? Go for it!

So you're saying you only clean your house when your husband's around? If that's the case, I'd get started as soon as possible.

Not too soon. You want to be relaxed when he gets home. And what if he (by some luck) would get to come home a little earlier?
I'm glad he's comming home. But don't be surprised if Bush extends his stay.
