Cold water, delicate cycle in the washing machine, or by hand, and both with detergent made for delicate fabrics. The agitation of a regular wash will make it fall apart. No wringing or twisting, squeeze water out if you hand wash. You can use the clothes dryer to dry it, low heat, and either way, hang to dry completely.

I wash my in the washing machine all the time. cold or warm water is OK so is gentle cycle. the ones i have are about 50 or 60 years old and they come out of the dryer just beautiful every time. If you have a new one I don`t know, maybe they need special washing instructions but anyone that has an old one they wash up real nice with little attention. I love my chenille bedspreads

cold water, delicate cycle (you don't want all the chenille to come out)...dry low and keep the lint trap clean. (you'll have to clean it a few times)...chenille is the most linty of all the things you can put in a dryer.

Use a gentle cycle and warm water with a mild detergent. Warm dryer; not hot. It comes to life with the warmth!
