The FDA is proposing allowing Big Candy Makers to Market what is now FAKE CHOCOLATE as the Real Thing. Their Big Lobby Groups want to allow the use of cheap vegetable fat and other cheap ingredents to replace Cocoa Butter and Milk in Chocolate and label it is 100%Real Chocolate.
The only way to fix this is to Speak up!! I URGE you to visit DON'T MESS WITH MY CHOCOLATE web site and use their link to the FDA and voice your DECENT!!
Big Candy is trying to pull the wool over our eyes and increase their profits with cheap imatation chocolate to be maketed the same as real chocolate. Let's not let them get away with it. Use your voice and please speak up

Excuse me dragon jerk. I'm am thin and fit. Having chocolate doesn't make you fat!!! I have my 2 pieces of chocolate every day and I would bet I am in better shape than you.

I see what you're saying. I tottally agree. I can't believe they would do this. Let's use our heads and our voices together and put a stop to all this nonsense. DON'T MESS WITH MY CHOCOLATE!!!!

Chocolate is so so so so so delicious.
I can't believe Big Candy Makers would dare change a good thing.
You can't fix what isn't broken, right?
So why in the world are they trying to change our chocolate?
I don't care how good vegetable fat is for the world.
As far as I know, nobody has died from eating chocolate so far, so why are they trying to make it healthier.
Also, why oh why must everybody and their mother try to make extra money off of me by substituting fake ingredients for the real deal?
I can understand if they wanted to remake certain chocolatey delicious products to appeal to our vegetarian/vegan/health maniac counterparts (no offense, seriously) but labeling said products as 100% Real Chocolate with a stamp of approval and everything is going WAY too far.
I'm willing to fight somebody over this, and I don't even really like chocolate all that much.
That's how serious this is.

I usually give a chocolate sauce bottle a quick slurp. If you want to make a REAL chocoholic happy, look into baking a very modern chocolate cake. Even one of these fancy no-flour cakes. They are squat, and extremely dense, not the fluffy cakes with icing of olden times. Im sure you can track down a good recipe, you'll know its good when you see how much of the chocolate you use. Serve with freshly whipped cream. Not that cool whip stuff or canned yuck.

I am a big chocolate candy eater. Milky ways are my favorite...or is Whoppers?
To be honest...I seldom look at the ingredients. If it looks like chocolate and tastes like chocolate that's fine with me.
I do agree with you. But, only from the standpoint that chocolate is good for the body and the fake ingredients may not be.
I'll do what you suggest!

Okay, I love chocolate and all, but seriously, look at the weight of people in America today. If it tastes like chocolate, fine, at least it's healthier. Also, I doubt they are going to label it as 100% real chocolate. That is illegal (I think, at least).
So to the people saying that junk food is the only kind of food you eat and stuff like that, then no offense, but maybe this is for your own good.
And as long as it tastes normal and is labeled properly, I honestly have no problem.

I received an email from See's Candy about this very thing today. They are not going to alter how they do business, nor will they alter their recipes. I will continue to buy See's, Guittard chocolates, and Joseph Schmidt. Maybe the rest of them should go belly up for selling garbage & being profit hogs!!

Oh you got to be kidding. Why not take away cigaretts why real chocolate. Man i they did that there would be alot of upset and crazy women in this world so to keep the world safe theyd give it back LOL Seriously tho the world couldnt handle it.

real chocolate is what we all need but fake chocolate is needed for thoughts poor souls who can never eat chocolate give people a choose to eat that disgusting stuff but it will never ever even compare to the real deal

Amen! Here Here! I Love my chocolate! Did you know that dark chocolate has the highest rating of flavinoid antioxidents than ANY FOOD!!!!!!!! We NEED our chocolate to be kept as the ONLY REAL CHOCOLATE!!!!!!!!
