This is usually copper in the water. Normally it would show up with a well and not city water. So, if you use city water you may ask the water department.
We had this and it really not a problem, but, I guess it can be filtered. I would go the the State Health Department once a year and they give you a Bottle and Instructions and you get a water sample and they test it for $10, if you really need to know. Ours always test good as there was no real source around to contaminate the well water.

Blue stains are usually from the mineral copper. May be in your well water but most likely you have copper pipes. Shouldn't hurt you and a bit of baking soda on a sponge applied with a bit of "elbow grease" usually takes care of it.

Those are hard water stains. You may have to get a softner - check with culligan or a water conditioning store or even your local big box hardware store..like Lowes etc... they will have info.

Don't know, this is a new one to us.
(AJ Plumbing co.)
.
Try asking Home Depot Plumbing Dept. They're pretty knowledgable. Or a Lowes store.
