I had a white dress which I have dyed black. The dress was 100% cotton on the label, which was ok according to the dye pack. Unfortunately it seems the stitching on the dress is not cotton, so now I have a black dress with white stitching. It looks really stupid, any ideas how I can return it to white or is it too late?

Would bleach make it white again or just mess it up even further?

there is stuff to de-colour clothes, but it's never going to be white again.

Get a black permanent marker and go over the white stitches. Bleaching it back to white might ruin the fabric. And it would probably not go back to the way it was.

Try a large dose of Ace Bleach and sock them over night then do a normal wash, should be as good as new. I had some underwear that should have been white, they came up really good.

Dyegon. You can normally buy it where you buy the dye. Good luck.

Most all dye companies make a WHITENER for stripping color before you die it a different color.
