Try a small amount of White Vinegar on the stain and rub not very hard but more than lightly on this stain, leave for about an hour then rinse with warm water but do not soak carpet as the water will soak down into the padding this you do not want to do, then just blot up as much of the moisture as you can, then place a white towel over the spot overnight weighted down with a heavy object, remove next day, thats it, the berber if flattened can be fluffed up with your fingertips not nails, carpet will be beautifully clean and you won't even know you had a stain there.
Or you can use a small amount of Shaving Cream on the spot, work it in as you would a carpet cleaner allow to dry then just vacuum up.
Good Luck !

I normally use a carpet stain remover too but if it is grease I just use simple green. I usually spray it on the cleaning towel or rag an rub the stain out
You can get Simple Green anywhere like Wal-Mart or Grocery store.

If it is grease or oil, the Sugar Paste will probably work the best for you, and in addition you won't have to scrub your burber!!
Try Sugar Paste with your carpet being so light this should work the best for you: Sugar Paste, made of sugar and water, and allowed to sit for one hour, will usually remove anything!!
If sugar paste dosen't work try: One cup of Tide with two cups of White Vinegar. Blot the stain well with this solution, rinse with cold water, blot and air dry.
I've used both of these on carpets, furniture, and garments. They work like a charm!!

use some of your own hair shampoo , wash they area with a soft sponge , don´t rub or scrub this will only brake the fibers of your nice carpet, once it has dried place a towel & a heavy object on top of the towel ,as even although the stain has been removed the under side of the carpet is still wet, and sooner or later the water , with any of the dirt from the stain will make it´s way back up again , leave for 24 hrs then wash again if needed

Berber carpet is nearly impossible to get stains out of. You can treat it, it will look good for a while, but it will nearly always come back. As one of the others said, you can try to have a professional do it, but I'd be willing to bet you will never get rid of it.
My wife is a real estate agent who has dealt with this many times in homes she has sold. She won't even consider buying berber for our house, just because of this problem.
