Hypothetically, how would I get rid of a large amount of blood on the walls, floor and ceiling ?
The floor is carpeted, and the walls and ceiling are papered and painted an off-white colour.
For the sake of argument, imagine I have to completely remove every tiny trace as I'm a very tidy person.

First, can you tell me where you live? Second, do you mind if I share it with the authorities? Thirdly, are you seeing anyone, like a psychiatrist? Fourth, why don't you go pack a bag...I think you're due for a few days away.

Removing the wall paper will take care of your walls and wash your ceiling, after which you can paint,

The carpet may need to be replaced as it is very difficult once the blood has dried.

Just for the sake of information, whether you are a neat freak or not, forensics can detect the blood even if you paint over, bleach whatever. It leaves a chemical residue not seen by the naked eye, but forensics has this spray and light that can detect the minutest amount.

The only way that works is either to use a carbonated beverage, such as seltzer water, or bleach. Obviously the seltzer would not ruin the color of any of the materials, but there are two things to keep in mind here. First of all, seltzer will clean a good portion of the blood stains, but not necessarily all of it. Second, bleach will clean it but obviously ruin anything with color. Lastly, and most important, you might want to ask this question in a way that does not imply that you plan on spreading blood over the areas you mentioned and using either seltzer or bleach will still show up in a black-light scan.

Yellow Out works - just ONLY use it on 100% white shirts. Any color in the shirt will be discolored by the yellow out. Good luck!
